Well mainly a plea for any pictures, snippets of memoirs, service records, Commando Association Newsletters, etc that persons visiting this site may be willing to share with me in order to improve this memorial site and also to assist in my research for the book dedicated to the men of the Unit, and their actions.

I do so hope that you all consider this memorial site as, firstly, their (the veterans) site - but also as 'our' site. In that please view the 'Special Thanks' page and the acknowledgments that have already been made for persons who have been so kind to share their memories and information with me.

I trust that they can vouch for the fact that I take great care in the research and any materials lent to me are always returned (if so desired) in good and secure condition.
