Capt. Paul N. Davis

Capt. Paul N. Davis, formerly of the Beds & Herts Regmt, served in No.6 Commando from 10th November 1940.

Capt. Davis was a keen amateur boxer and competed on the Commando’s boxing team as a Heavy Weight.

He was a Troop Captain of No.2 Troop in No.6 Commando from at least 30th March 1942 and during the North African campaign, and remained in command of this Troop following the Commando re-organisation on 21st June 1943.

Capt. Paul N. Davis was later promoted to Brigadier and then awarded a CBE.
