VI COMMANDO

Lt. Cyril John Deacon, formerly of the Royal Artillery, was posted to No.4 Troop of No.6 Commando on 26^th June 1944, but with the arrival of Lt. Dixon from the Beach Unit on 20^th July 1944 – who was posted to No.4 Troop – he was moved to No.6 Troop, before leaving the Commando on 7^th August 1944.

He was commissioned on 29th November 1941.
