	VI COMMANDO

	Capt. Reginald J. Emery
		Lt. Reginald J. Emery, formerly of the Norfolks, served with No.4 Troop of No.6 Commando from at least, 20^th September 1943 until, at least, 26^th October 1943 and landed with No.4 Troop on D-Day. He was promoted to Captain and Commanding Officer of No.5 Troop of No.6 Commando w.e.f 6^th June 1944 on 24^th June 1944 . He was evacuated back to the UK for an operation on 29^th July 1944.
