VI COMMANDO

Lt. Peter. E. Goodwin, formerly of the Border regiment, served with No.1 Troop of No.6 Commando from 29^th July1944, until he was posted to No.6 Troop on 7^th August 1944 .

Lt. Peter Goodwin served with No.6 Troop of No.6 Commando and as the Intelligence Officer from, at least, the return to N.W. Europe in January 1945 and possibly from when Lt. Paul P. Lorraine followed Lt-Col. Mills-Roberts to Brigade.

Lt. Peter E. Goodwin was promoted to Capt and AO on 6^th July 1945 .
