Capt. Peter Hugh Tasker MC

Lt. Peter N. Tasker, formerly of the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC), served as Medical Officer (Lt.) to No.6 Commando from 3rd October 1942 until 26th December 1942 when he replaced Capt. C. Coke.

During the Operation: Torch landings he – and two Medical Orderlies - were attached to No.3 Troop for the assault on Beer Red One, as it was thought to be the most heavily defended of the assault beaches.  

He was promoted as a Captain from at least 10th April 1943 , and was awarded the Military Cross on 15th July 1944 .
