Prt. Ernest Crouch, formerly of the Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment ), served in No.3 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, June 1944 .

Prt. Ernest Crouch was Killed In Action (KIA) on 24th January 1945 , aged 22 years. He was the son of Alfred and Annie Emma Crouch, of South Hackney, London . Ernest was laid to rest in Nederweert War Cemetery ( Limburg , Netherlands ). Grave IV.E.4.
