VI COMMANDO

Spr. J. “Roy” Hedges, formerly of the Royal Engineers, served in No.3 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, June 1944 as a Bren Gunner until, at least, 24th January 1945 when he was Wounded In Action (WIA) by gunfire to his calf muscle at Maasbracht, Netherlands.
