Prt. J. “Jock” Hutchinson served in No.1 (later becoming No.101) Troop of No.6 Commando from 1940 (in Scarborough) until, at least, 13th March 1942 and the formation of No.2 Special Boat Seaction (SBS)..
It is noted that he was later promoted to Sergeant with No.2 SBS.
