VI COMMANDO

Prt. Wally Hutton, formerly of the Green Howards, served in No.3 Troop of No.6 Commando and was the No.1 man on the Troops’ 2” mortar on D-Day, disembarking from LSI (S) 516.

In late 1945, Prt. Wally Hutton was reported as being transferred to No.4 Commando for the purposes of occupation operations in Germany .
