VI COMMANDO

Pfc. John D. Shumaker, formally of the 168^th Rifle Regiment of the Iowa National Guard (34^th Division), served with No.6 Commando and was reported as being Killed In Action (KIA) during the Operation: Torch North African landings on 22nd November 1942.
